Boerne-Fair Oaks Ranch Friends,

The weather will be taking a turn to extreme freezing temperatures this
week.

You may have seen Hill Country Family Service's plan for our homeless
neighbors. Please share with those who need this information. It’s already
been shared on many social media sites, nonprofit partners and with our
faith community leaders.

From 7am - 7pm Thursday - Monday, the Community Room at the Patrick Heath
Library will be open for anyone in need of a warm place. There will be
water, coffee, cocoa, hot tea, warm soup (provided by Richter), homeless
kits with blankets and gloves.

Overnight plans are in place for homeless neighbors who need a warm place
to stay between 7pm and 7am.

This is an opportunity for us to serve our homeless neighbors by dropping
off cookies/rolls/biscuits, etc.

and/or

dropping off wrapped gloves/scarves/sweaters so our homeless neighbors so
that they can unwrap on Sunday.

Drop off items to the Community Room at PHPL between 7AM - 7PM Thursday -
Monday

Merry Christmas,
Audra Duran

Hi Audra! Thank you for sharing! I definitely have a coat that I maybe wore once and many barely used scarves. Should I drop those items off wrapped? Or only wrap brand new items?
