Tommy

The spoked portion of the filter which holds down the paper towel roll is
always hard to remove.  I have had to tap it down to break the "seal" before
prying it up, sometimes using a screw driver.

I have used the Gulf Coast filter for fuel polishing for 12 years. At that
time I had had my tanks cleaned.  I am currently in the process of replacing
the tanks and unbelievably there was little crud on the bottom of the tanks.

Anyone know where to get those old Gulf Coast Filters that take rolls of
paper towels.  The only thing they're selling now are units that take a
proprietary element @$25 each.
