FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 12, 2018
___________
The City of Auburn and the Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to present the work of Andrea Ciaston at the Community Center Gallery, on view January 12th - February 28th, 2018.
Andrea Ciaston creates innovative mixed-media works which explore "sacred texts and rituals, memory, and the act of ascribing power to images and objects." Her work has a feminine delicacy in the application of materials, tenuous strands of organic fibers that stretch across space like the architecture of spider webs.
