I've seen service manuals for sale on eBay and other places... Nobody seems
to have free PDFs for download... Bama has a few Tek stuff, but not anything
for mine.

I have my 2215 Operators Manual (not service manual unfortunately), I can
scan it if someone really wants a copy.

Jason

Heck I would be grateful for a service manual for my
Tektronix 2246. One doesn't
seem to exist.

I have a PDF of both the Operation and Service manuals for a 2215A. I don't
remember where I found them. I can post them on a file sharing site if
anyone wants them. The files are 36MB/38MB in size.

If I did the math right, a 360 phase rotation will take 2000 seconds.
This means the LPRO is about 5x10E-11 off from GPS, no?

What is the protocol for the data at J6? Can it be the same as the
Z3801?

Didier, I tried uploading to your FTP server, but got an "out of space"
error. I have uploaded both manuals to another site. Feel free to host them
on your manuals page if you like. In the mean time, anyone else can download
them directly from these links.

There must have been some network error, because I am currently using
2.7 GB out of 25 GB available.

<last minute update> I have downloaded the first file from the free file sharing service and I am having difficulties uploading it to my site. Apparently the transfer aborts soon after starting, my ftp client (Filezilla) retries a few times then eventually gives up. It seems that, for the first time in 3 years that I have been a very satisfied customer of Globat.com, there is a problem with accessing my site, even though I have no problem accessing other areas (such as the http stuff and my normal user login) at the moment.

Hopefully, this will be resolved soon and I will upload the manuals there.
</update>

Thanks

Actually, Tektronix have a rather large manual site too. They where ahead of HP
eh... Agilent but Agilent have shaped up alot since. Agilent also indirectly
take requests and they will also accept contributions if they are good enought
scans. I know of at least two time-nuts contributions.

Cheers,
Magnus
