Old Fashion Vuecrest 4th of July Celebration 1:00-2:00P
Before nightfall and fireworks, please join all your Vuecrest neighbors at this fun celebration! Meet at the Vuecrest flagpole at 1:00P on July 4th for a special Boy Scout Ceremony that will retire our old flag and raise our new one.
Pre-decorate your bikes, scooters, wagons, pets on leashes, silly hats, and join in the fun parade that will take place immediately following the ceremony! (Age limit 0-100)
An Ice Cream truck will be standing by to keep you refreshed! And there will be flags and pinwheels for all! Also, depending on work load, the Bellevue Police and Fire Department may have their vehicles in attendance! “Rain, shine, or sweltering heat” we’ll see you there!
This fun event brought to you by our new Vuecrest Social Director, Li Wong!
Introducing (Drumroll please...) Our New Social Director
Li Wong has just recently taken on the position of Vuecrest Social Director and she already has some great plans for our 4th of July celebration! Li was living in West Lake Sammamish and temporarily moved into Vuecrest early in 2019 while her home was being remodeled. So, this was actually supposed to be a temporary home, but they ended up loving the neighborhood so much that they have decided to make it permanent. Li and her husband have busy lives, and are blessed with a growing family. They will become first time grandparents in a few months and will also add a second son-in-law in the near future. Li wanted to get involved to become acquainted with her neighbors and we’re so glad she did. Make sure you seek her out at the 4th of July celebration and say “hello”!
Vintage Vuecrest

Dylan’s Neighborhood Food Drive
Thank you to all who donated to Dylan’s Food Drive last month. He will be continuing to assist the Renewal Food Bank which supports so many families who are currently experiencing food insecurity. The first Wednesday of each month, he will pick up your donations right from your driveway. Please text or call Dylan at 425.442.7385 for more information regarding your donation pickup. Dylan is a Junior in high school.
A note from Dylan...
“Thanks for helping me promote the food drive. I really appreciate it! We received a decent amount of food, as our neighbors were quite generous. We took the food to the food bank and we saw a lot of people who clearly needed help. We were very moved, and we will continue to run the food drive.”
