How about prohibiting living in tents in the yards of the homes in towns? Several older citizens have allowed people to set up tents and move in. The city code enforcement person thinks they are pressured to allow them to do so.

I don’t think that there is a problem with a city or town establishing hours of operation for their parks. This can be done through ordinance, resolution, or park rules, although ordinance sounds like what you may need. Below you will find a link to Municode. I would look at some of the larger cities for examples, although if you do a general Google search with Oklahoma, you should be able to find some. I am sorry that I don’t have a good draft for you!

Thank you all for the input and sample ordinance. I am also trying to draft something that will allow enforcement against native Americans as the town of Muldrow is in the area within Cherokee Nation. The town of Muldrow participates in the MOU with the Cherokee Nation
