I am sorry to hear that Pierre has resorted to this.

You have read all the previous letters written by Pierre and should find
it quite strange after all the praise he bestowed on us and our boat.

Let us not forget  that Pierre and Linda have completed over 8000 miles in
our Aventure 46 in just 2 years which is probably more miles that a normal
yachtsman does in a lifetime.

The problem stems from the following: our contract is quite clear, 2 year
hull warranty, all the equipment is under USA warranty and the balance
under 240 days (8 months)

You will see by Pierres letter posted on his website he changes the 240
days to 24 months, to suit his claim, therefore he has publicly perjured
himself.

I am quite willing to send you a copy of the contract.

Our contract is clear and the same as all USA boat builders contracts,
that all quotes for warranty work to be from a qualified shipyard.  This
has never been the case when dealing with Pierre.

I have personally attended to their first maintenance service.  Prior to
that I also spent 10 days assisting him in the art of skippering his own
boat, at my own cost.

I apologise to my clients and potential client for misinformation from
Pierre concerning  our company.  Further, I cannot condone the remarks he
previously made about Endeavour Yachts.  Now I can clearly see why
Endeavour Yachts cancelled Pierre's contract to purchase.

Please bear in mind our boats are designed by Lavranos, engineered by High
Modulus, and built under stringent EU and USCG rules.  Additionally we
make sea trials around the Southern Cape point (documented by Pierre )
before delivery to the USA.  Quite a test.

Our warranty experiences with the Builder Aventure Catamaran are
factual and fully documented. We can't change that.  And it's true,
Aventure Catamaran as of this date, February 24, 2006, has not paid
one red cent in warranty expenses.  In fact Aventure Catamaran has
not paid for our initial trip to South Africa as they promised!

There are positive things about the Aventure 460 see complete website
at http://www.yumyum1.info/http://www.yumyum1.info but warranty
experiences with the builder is not one of them
