Hi colleagues, UCB has built a clickable image component that can be placed on cataloging and other records. UCB would like to contribute this to the core software for v2.3. When installed, if a Cataloging record has a related Media Handling record that has an image file (blob) associated with it, an image thumbnail is displayed in the top of the right panel (where the placeholder graphic sits now). Clicking on the image brings up a larger version of the image (the OriginalJpeg blob) in a separate browser window. This currently requires some minor app layer configuration. See the Jira ticket for information about required changes. http://issues.collectionspace.org/browse/CODE-2 Note that in this version, if there are multiple images available, only the first one displays. Pagination can be added later. Chris, This looks really great. It would be really amazing to put this component into master repository during 2.3. Please let me know if you need my assistance with reviewing the pull request (if that's the contribution form you prefer) and putting it in the main codebase.
