Kellogg School of Management: Open Rank Position, Computational Research in Management & Organizations

The Management and Organizations Department of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track position with a specialization in computational and data intensive approaches to social and organizational research. The position is open rank with an appointment either as an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field and demonstrate an interest in topics related to management and organizations. Relevant fields include but are not limited to management, communications and behavioral social science disciplines. The degree must be in hand by the employment start date.
Primary criteria are evidence of outstanding research potential, a commitment to teaching excellence, and an ability to enhance the department’s research and teaching portfolio. The position is part of an interdisciplinary effort to advance Kellogg’s and Northwestern’s leadership in computational, data intensive and complexity research. Applicants should thrive in interdisciplinary environments, have strong research skills in computational, data-analytic or complex systems approaches, and a desire to contribute to managerial and social science research. We expect the appointee to fully engage with the research community in the department, contribute to our doctoral program, and teach MBA-level courses on social analytics and related topics.
