VIRTUAL GATOR FITNESS CHALLENGE: WEEK 12 WORKOUT LOG (June 8-14) and WEEK
11 RESULTS!

For week 11 (June 1-7) we missed our goal achieving about 250 hours against
the 300 hour goal, but there were still many great individual
accomplishments and 250 hours gives us a nice start to the lightest month
of the year, so take advantage of the early sunrises and late sunsets and
let's build on it this week!  And if you have not been participating, this
is a great week to start... All that you have to do is post a comment with
your workouts!

This log covers Monday, June 8 through Sunday, June 14.  Our team goal for
the week will remain at 300 hours... Let's do it!

Following is a summary of how the VGFC works...

Here's how it works...

• What counts? Each time that you complete any sort of workout of at least
20 minutes, you have earned the right to log time into our club weekly VGFC
total.

• How do I log a workout?  Easy!  Each time you complete a workout (can
include multiple workouts per day), just post a comment to the weekly VGFC
post that will appear under announcements each Monday!  Your comment can be
as simple as "30 minutes run" or you can feel free to include photos and/or
additional text describing your workout... It's up to you how concise or
detailed you'd like to be!

• Who is eligible to participate?  All Gators, including Gator Tots and Jr.
Gators... And we're also including the rest of your family members if they
would like to participate!  So if you go for a 30 minute hike with your
spouse and two kids, that would count as 4x30 minutes = 2 hour workout.

• What constitutes a workout?  We're going to use a broad definition, so
we'll include all of the usual activities, such as... Swim (if you are
fortunate enough to have an endless pool or if you complete dryland
exercises), Bike (including outdoor, spin, trainer), Run/jog, and
Strength/flexibility/core workouts including stretching and yoga.  But
we'll also count other activities that help you stay fit such as walking
and hiking.  Heck, we've even had tennis, karate, soccer, basketball, golf,
MMA, roller blading, and archery!  It's up to you to decide what to log...
We're giving a lot of latitude.
