Photos of the kingbird here, along with dropped pin map showing
location on the VanVleck Preserve at the intersection of Flanders Road
and Church Hill Road in Woodbury. Unfortunately not relocated today but
worth a try if you are in the area. If accepted by the Avian Records
Committee, a first record of this species for Connecticut. With ID tips
from Greg H. and Julian H. photos obtained to show white-tipped tail,
sharply delineated white chin not extending beyond the eye, pale outer
rectrices, yellow belly and grayish chest.
