I have a much stronger motivation for not falling off the boat.  With a paralyzed diaphragm, I can't breathe if I'm in the water.  I'd last, oh, about 4 or 5 minutes at best.  Hopefully when I drop 50 lbs my breathing will improve, but as it sits now, falling overboard would be a death sentence for me.
