The LRHOA Board held its monthly meeting last Wednesday, Sep29. Here are my notes about the meeting for your information.

Seven residents participated in addition to the boardmembers and Judy Parker from Wildwood. The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm.

Homeowners forum: AC asked about status of trimmingtrees around the main entrance. Tom Agnotti responded that they are working onthat and have already trimmed the crepe myrtle at the entrance gate. BruceAnderson pointed out that he occasionally has had to pick up pieces of playgroundequipment that have been left lying around the park. Tom commented that he has hadto do the same (this is addressed further in Old Business).

Tom gave a shout out to David Luckett for his help inassisting another family in the neighborhood. Tom stated that the monthly yardrecognition is transitioning from most beautiful to best decorated as we enter theholiday season. Tom commented that the Anderson’s yard is looking good afterall of the landscaping and noted that they had followed the ACC processproperly.

The board has some corrections that need to be made to the minutesof the Sep 1 board meeting so approval of the minutes was deferred. For financials,Tom reported current year income at 95.9k which is ahead of budget due to earlypayments. Expenses were $81k in line with the budget. The HOA should be able tocontribute about $15k to the reserve at year end. The board approved the budgetfor 2022. They did not disclose any numbers or give an indication of how thebudget compared with the current year but Tom gave detail of what went into thevarious line items of the unseen budget. (I do hope Tom will repeat that in theannual meeting when we have the budget in front of us.) Wildwood has afinancial review in progress that looks back 3 years.

Wildwood reported two delinquencies, two resales and no ACCrequests for August. The welcome committee has been active welcoming newresidents that have moved in recently.

Old Business: Sign painting has resumed. Thesignposts are painted and lettering on the street signs has started. Work thatis still needed includes removing painters tape from speed limit signs andrepairing any improper painting. (Although the board did not make a request, Iam sure Tom would like to hear if you see any work that still needs to be doneor repaired.)

Rainbow is continuing to have supply chain problemsconcerning the playground equipment repair. Reid has requested thatRainbow either rebuild the equipment or take away the loose parts to storage.

Movies in the Park has been cancelled recentlybecause Sonny, who sets up the equipment, has been sick. Suggestions for movieshave been requested and received  throughthe HOA Facebook site.

New Business: The board is talking with twocontractors about landscaping bids for the community side exit. Asphaltpatchwork is hoped to be scheduled for late October. Since Halloween falls on aSunday, the official day for trick-or-treating in the community will be SaturdayOctober 30.

There was considerable discussion about the upcoming annualmeeting but that does not need to be discussed here because the board has aclear plan for communicating that to the residents.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:59 pm.

So the Board says we cannot have Halloween on Halloween?  Was there a voted taken by the community on this that I missed? Halloween is Halloween.  Can someone help me understand this,  or am I clearly missing something?

board meetingThe LRHOA Board held its monthly meeting last Wednesday,
Sep29. Here are my notes about the meeting for your information.Seven
residents participated in addition to the boardmembers and Judy Parker from
Wildwood. The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm.Homeowners forum: AC
asked about status of trimmingtrees around the main entrance. Tom Agnotti
responded that they are working onthat and have already trimmed the crepe
myrtle at the entrance gate. BruceAnderson pointed out that he occasionally
has had to pick up pieces of playgroundequipment that have been left lying
around the park. Tom commented that he has hadto do the same (this is
addressed further in Old Business).Tom gave a shout out to David Luckett
for his help inassisting another family in the neighborhood. Tom stated
that the monthly yardrecognition is transitioning from most beautiful to
best decorated as we enter theholiday season. Tom commented that the
Anderson’s yard is looking good afterall of the landscaping and noted that
they had followed the ACC processproperly. The board has some corrections
that need to be made to the minutesof the Sep 1 board meeting so approval
of the minutes was deferred. For financials,Tom reported current year
income at 95.9k which is ahead of budget due to earlypayments. Expenses
were $81k in line with the budget. The HOA should be able tocontribute
about $15k to the reserve at year end. The board approved the budgetfor
2022. They did not disclose any numbers or give an indication of how
thebudget compared with the current year but Tom gave detail of what went
into thevarious line items of the unseen budget. (I do hope Tom will repeat
that in theannual meeting when we have the budget in front of us.) Wildwood
has afinancial review in progress that looks back 3 years.Wildwood reported
two delinquencies, two resales and no ACCrequests for August. The welcome
committee has been active welcoming newresidents that have moved in
recently.Old Business: Sign painting has resumed. Thesignposts are painted
and lettering on the street signs has started. Work thatis still needed
includes removing painters tape from speed limit signs andrepairing any
improper painting. (Although the board did not make a request, Iam sure Tom
would like to hear if you see any work that still needs to be doneor
repaired.)Rainbow is continuing to have supply chain problemsconcerning the
playground equipment repair. Reid has requested thatRainbow either rebuild
the equipment or take away the loose parts to storage.Movies in the Park
has been cancelled recentlybecause Sonny, who sets up the equipment, has
been sick. Suggestions for movieshave been requested and received
throughthe HOA Facebook site.New Business: The board is talking with
twocontractors about landscaping bids for the community side exit.
Asphaltpatchwork is hoped to be scheduled for late October. Since Halloween
falls on aSunday, the official day for trick-or-treating in the community
will be SaturdayOctober 30.There was considerable discussion about the
upcoming annualmeeting but that does not need to be discussed here because
the board has aclear plan for communicating that to the residents. The
meeting was adjourned at 7:59 pm.Submitted by Bruce

Thank you but we are good... been doing the dogs on Halloween for about 10
years now.  Just a Costco run! We look forward to it... it's the only hot
dog we eat all year.  :)

Nancy, nothing like a good old fashioned hot dog.  Thank you for doing
that.  And, yes, reserve one for me.

We have lived here since the neighborhood opened and we have never done
Halloween on a different night.  Swing by our house Sunday evening for a
hot dog while you are out trick or treating!

board meetingThe LRHOA Board held its monthly meeting last Wednesday,
Sep29. Here are my notes about the meeting for your information.Seven
residents participated in addition to the boardmembers and Judy Parker

from

Wildwood. The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm.Homeowners forum: AC
asked about status of trimmingtrees around the main entrance. Tom

Agnotti

responded that they are working onthat and have already trimmed the

crepe

myrtle at the entrance gate. BruceAnderson pointed out that he

occasionally

has had to pick up pieces of playgroundequipment that have been left

lying

around the park.
Tom commented that the
Anderson’s yard is looking good afterall of the landscaping and noted

that

they had followed the ACC processproperly. The board has some corrections
that need to be made to the minutesof the Sep 1 board meeting so

approval

of the minutes was deferred. For financials,Tom reported current year
income at 95.9k which is ahead of budget due to earlypayments. Expenses
were $81k in line with the budget. The HOA should be able tocontribute
about $15k to the reserve at year end. The board approved the budgetfor
2022. They did not disclose any numbers or give an indication of how
thebudget compared with the current year but Tom gave detail of what

went

into thevarious line items of the unseen budget. (I do hope Tom will

repeat

that in theannual meeting when we have the budget in front of us.)

Wildwood

has afinancial review in progress that looks back 3 years.Wildwood

reported

two delinquencies, two resales and no ACCrequests for August. The

welcome

committee has been active welcoming newresidents that have moved in
recently.Old Business: Sign painting has resumed. Thesignposts are

painted

and lettering on the street signs has started. Work thatis still needed
includes removing painters tape from speed limit signs andrepairing any
improper painting. (Although the board did not make a request, Iam sure

Tom

would like to hear if you see any work that still needs to be doneor
repaired.)Rainbow is continuing to have supply chain problemsconcerning

the

playground equipment repair. Reid has requested thatRainbow either

rebuild

the equipment or take away the loose parts to storage.Movies in the Park
has been cancelled recentlybecause Sonny, who sets up the equipment, has
been sick. Suggestions for movieshave been requested and received
throughthe HOA Facebook site.New Business: The board is talking with
twocontractors about landscaping bids for the community side exit.
Asphaltpatchwork is hoped to be scheduled for late October. Since

Halloween

falls on aSunday, the official day for trick-or-treating in the

community

will be SaturdayOctober 30.There was considerable discussion about the
upcoming annualmeeting but that does not need to be discussed here

because

the board has aclear plan for communicating that to the residents. The
meeting was adjourned at 7:59 pm.Submitted by Bruce
