Please join me in welcoming a new member to the SSYCDS listserv, Linhe Li.
Below please find Linhe's self-introduction. Welcome to our community!

Linhe Li 李林壑 is a Ph.D. student in premodern Chinese literature in the
Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of
Washington. Her research centers on literary compositions and
representations of imperial and regional borderlands in the Middle Period,
with particular attention to frontier poetry on the “Western Regions.” She
is also interested in travel writing, landscape poetry, as well as
religious and funerary art, which she examines in the context of
transcultural interactions along the ancient Silk Road. She previously
studied at the University of Hong Kong (B.A., 2021) and Columbia University
(M.A., 2023).
