For those interested in rarities; I haven't seen it posted here, but there was a CATTLE EGRET that briefly stopped by at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison this AM. The last I heard, it flew out over Long Island Sound. Possibly the same as the Stratford/Milford bird, but over the years there have been one or two that stop by in late Summer or early Fall.
