Just back from two weeks on the Maine coast aboard our PDQ 34 -  this time
including the dog.  The wide, flat decks proved a boon for  the doggie aboard.

We've now got a total of 1,453 nautical miles under our keels (since  leaving
Whitby in Mid-May) and about 175 hours on our engines (more than some  2-year
old PDQ's presently on the market!)  The boat continues to perform
excellently and surprise us with her luxurious accommodations and stingy fuel  burn -
average for our cruise was 2.8 gal/hr, that's for both engines.

Recent photos and more commentary can be found at our  website:

Henry, you're an engineer, aren't you? Why do you figure the PDQ 34
is so efficient through the water and thus so miserly with fuel burn?
