Vuecrest Annual Meeting
Due to a scheduling conflict, the Vuecrest Community Association Annual Meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, November 17 at 7 pm, in Pearson Hall at Grace Lutheran Church, on the other side of NE 8th Street, opposite Vuecrest. We will present a review of this year, vote on the proposed budget for next year, as well as hold elections for two of the Director positions.
Anyone who is interested in serving as a Director, please contact any of the current Directors at directors@vuecrest.netmailto:directors@vuecrest.net.
Ballots
In the near future, ballots will be in the mail for the upcoming Annual Meeting. Should you need to vote absentee, please make sure your ballot is postmarked on, or before, November 17th.
Keep Vuecrest Beautiful!
Keeping Vuecrest beautiful and safe takes little effort if everyone pitches in. Did you know that our Vuecrest.nethttp://Vuecrest.net website has a City/County/State Services tab that puts you in touch with local assistance? Reporting a damaged or blinking streetlight is easy. Simply provide the address closest to the streetlight in need of repair, and the City of Bellevue will come out to fix it. You can also report speeding, unsafe driving, excessive noise, graffiti or possible code violations. We appreciate your contribution!
Halloween Safety
Are you ready for the estimated 200 trick-or-treaters in Vuecrest? Here are some reminders to keep it safe and seamless. Courtesy Medina Police.
*Make sure children can see through face masks. Alternate idea for maximum visibility would be to use cosmetics for those scary or creative faces.
*Wear light-colored clothing short enough to prevent tripping and add reflective tape to the front, sides and back of costume.
*Adults accompany young children
*Go out in daylight and carry a flashlight in case of delay.
*Stay within the neighborhood and only visit well-lit homes you know.
*Watch for traffic
*Only give and accept wrapped or packaged candy.
*Examine all candy prior to allowing children to eat it.
*Keep costumed kids away from pets. The child may not be recognizable to the animal.
*Avoid hard plastic or wood props such as daggers or swords. Substitute with foam rubber which is soft and flexible.
Vuecrest Monthly Board Meeting - November Location
Please join us at the next monthly Board Meeting on Thursday, November 6th (7-9 pm) at the home of Sean and Eileen Foley at 917 Evergreen. Love to see you there!
Thank you!
