First off, I think we'd all love to have some details of your vessel and maybe a link to some pictures? I have used Coastal Explorer from Rose Point Navigation on a laptop for a long time, and I wouldn't plan a route or leave town without it. It is not hooked up to anything other than a GPS and an AIS, but it will support other thinks like certain radars for overlay and autopilots. Ask Rose Point about it. Easy to Google.
