Come for good food, great drinks and to learn about campaigns your neighbors have developed to:
- Turn surplus city property into community gardens and parks
- Link disconnected bike trails and walking paths into and through Tacoma
- Transform the Dome District into a vibrant, walkable and livable community
Campaign leaders will present their research and plans and show how you can get involved to make the change you want to see in Tacoma.
Also:
- Connect with other people and organizations working to make a positive difference in our community.
- Hear an inspiring story of a neighborhood in Seattle that united to transform an under-used park into a community garden that grows vegetables and community.
To win these campaigns, we need you and other engaged community members to join the effort-so come and bring your friends. We'll supply the food.
