Several artists have partnered with the Grand Cinema in creating movie poster art for the Weird Elephant showings. Movies both new and old, weird and strange, make up the Weird Elephant series. The artists show show and sell the movie posters in the lobby before the movie starts. This week’s movie is a freshly remastered “Possession” from 1981. The artists began this collaberation in 2019. The prints are reasonably priced at $10-20. Several of the prints are a limited series, and some have sold-out. Again, the can only be bought in the lobby before the movie starts. 10pm this Friday and Saturday.
