Pierce County Employees might just be the most knowledgeable in the State when it comes to understanding Sustainability. In December of 2013, 1,872 Pierce County employees took our fourth annual sustainability survey.

ü 94% Consider Sustainability in their jobs
ü 94% Know wood smoke is the leading cause of our air quality problem

ü 81% Are familiar with sustainability and can explain it to others
ü 73% Know that idling your car wastes lots of gas
