The 21st Annual Peninsula Art League Open Juried Art Show features artists
from the Puget Sound art community and throughout the United States and
Canada. Beginning October 6, 2023, the show will be open to the public for
two months at the Harbor History Museum in beautiful downtown Gig Harbor,
WA.

The Peninsula Art League Open Juried Show is a juried art competition for
photo/digital, two-dimensional and three-dimensional art. All local,
national, and international artists over the age of 18 are invited to
submit your work.

More than $6,000 will be awarded in recognition for the best artwork
entered in the show.

Nationally recognized artist Catherine Gill will select the entrants, judge
the show and host a three-day workshop titled “Design and Color in
Landscape with Watercolor” on October 7, 8, and 9, 2023. Catherine teaches
painting and printmaking locally, throughout the United States, and
worldwide. Her artwork and current list of workshops and videos can be
viewed on www.catherinegill.com. Show applications are available at https://

Proceeds from the Peninsula Art League’s Open Juried Show are distributed
to local high school students to further their art education through
scholarship grants. Additionally, the Peninsula Art League sponsors art
shows and workshops and offers scholarships to Peninsula Art League members
continuing their artistic learning. The Peninsula Art League’s mission is
to bring art to the community and community to the artist.
