Lend a hand at the 8th Annual Green Tacoma Day!

Saturday, Oct. 10th

10am to 1pm

Join Citizens for a Healthy Bay and help protect the natural habitat of the
Gog Le Hi Te Wetlands.

A former landfill along the Puyallup River, Gog Le Hi Te is now a thriving
and healthy ecosystem supporting several species of salmon, a variety of
birds, mammals amphibians and reptiles.  This 9.5 acre wetland is part of
the Port of Tacoma’s habitat restoration efforts in order to restore
habitat for salmon and other native wildlife.

Where:  Gog Le Hi Te Wetlands, 1402 Lincoln Ave. Tacoma

What:  Help remove non-native, invasive Himalayan blackberry and other
invasive species, spread mulch to prevent re-growth.

Snacks and drinks provided!
