Hello fellow listees:  Having corresponded with and met several of you, as well as having posted on this list, many of you know of our order placed last November for a Prowler 42 manufactured by Charter Cats in South Africa.  We were to have taken delivery this month, but we have had a change in plans.  Finally after repeated delays in the delivery date on the part of Charter Cats, which constituted a breach of contract, we cancelled our order on Oct. 5.  At that time we were no closer to delivery than the day we placed the order.  We are not the first buyers to have these kind of problems. Large downpayments are due to us and the other party, but Charter Cats has not responded to our requests.  Sorry to have to bring this news to you.
