Paraphrasing a 02/06/08 email to PDQ owners:

PDQ has just been purchased by Pearson Composites of Warren, Rhode
Island (USA), builders of the True North, Alerion and J/Boat models.
Although they're not planning any immediate changes, they have full
capabilities to expand the line.  It appears they want to keep the
momentum going with consistent programs, including flotillas,
quality, warranty etc. For the short term, pricing for the 34
Powercat will remain at the $379K all-inclusive price. We expect the
first boats to be rolling into Narragansett Bay in August!

More, as it becomes available.

take a look at www.liveantares.com - it seems that the PDQ sailboat is back in business and operating out of Whitby Ontario, as was PDQ powerboats. So is there a split here, or are the Pearson people picking up the Antares line as well.

Take a look at this one.
http://www.stabilityyachts.com/

Apparently it is attempting to combine a wave piercing catamaran with the
sea-keeping of a SWATH vessel.

My biggest concern would be what happens when the vessel is loaded heavily
enough to submerge the catamaran hulls completely.

Kind Regards,
