Music Fans, The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra has several performances happening this week if you're in the mood for some live music. Friday Nov. 3rd we'll be performing at Mcgilvras in Seattle WA. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass. 7:30pm, all ages welcome, no cover charge. Saturday Nov. 4th we'll be performing at Happy Duo Cafe in University Place WA. I'll be joined by Drew Baddeley on bass and Jacques Willis on drums. 1pm to 3pm, all ages welcome, no cover charge. Sunday Nov. 5th we'll be performing our second installment of East Meets West in The Spanish Ballroom of McMenamins in Tacoma WA. The concert will feature six new original compositions that combine Middle Eastern rhythms with jazz forms and harmony. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass and Stefan Schatz on darbuka and drums. We'll also be featuring several students from our Weekly Jazz Workshop. 5pm to 8pm, all ages welcome. The concert will also be livestreamed via Facebook and from The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra's Youtube channel. The Livestreams are free to watch.
