Is this what you had in mind when you talked about a 'beachable' catamaran?

I've been drooling over PE and PCM cats for about three years now.  If one
doesn't count money, they are cats with very few compromises.  Somehow, I'd
learn to cope with them.  Still, that's a lot of glass bearing down on those
hulls.  In a perfect setting and calm seas, I might not be able to resist an
occasional beaching either, but it's still glass and gel-coat.  I'd worry and
fuss about it to the point that it would probably stress me infinitely more
than the boat itself.  My wife also doesn't drag her furs behind on the floor
behind her, but like me, may do it just for the experience.  I'd feel a bit
better with the beaching "shoes" like the option on Motorcats, but again, a
very different footprint.  Great thread, by the way.
