Exciting news!
Tacoma was selected as the first city in WA State to participate in a Creative Economy study, conducted by the new non-profit Whipsmart (the brainchild of WA Filmworks) that was established to define and build the Creative Economy in Washington State.
We know Tacoma has an amazing creative community. Finally, we will be able to understand what that truly means for us, as the result of a terrific research project Whipsmart is conducting.
What makes Tacoma a great place to be creative? How do we leverage this talent so creatives can thrive in this community, afford to stay here, and continue to contribute in incredible ways?
We want to have a conversation with you about what will help make the creative economy grow and thrive in Tacoma, and find out what can be done to make it work better for you.
I hope you can join us! Amy
