Problem solved then. Give us the manuals!!!

True.
A friend of mine set up a plant to clone Tek scopes for a military
contract. Tek caught on and drilled a couple of holes in the chassis that
were unused. The cloner reproduced the scope including those holes. Tek
sued and won. This was in the early to mid 1960s.

=============
Not to hijack a thread or get off topic, but that's why we love the older
Tek gear. Their documentation was first rate. That voluminous and
detailed documentation did come back to bite them, though.
I read story in " Winning with people: The first 40 years of Tektronix"
about the Tek people discovering counterfeit scopes that the military
(Navy?) was having built. As part of their contract to supply scopes
they
had to supply documentation that amounted to a detailed build manual for
the product. Once the military customer had the documentation they
shopped it around to contract manufacturers and found somebody who would
build the scopes to print for, presumably, a lower price than the genuine
Tek unit.
Looks like there is such a thing as too much information :)

It's really a shame...I was reading through the manual for the Tek 131
current probe amplifier yesterday. Not only do they provide detailed
part listings and schematics on top of the troubleshooting steps, they
also provide directions on how to modify it to work as a general purpose
voltage amp! "...solder the resistor here..."

I just got the same answer from Keithley today: "We no longer provide
schematics for our equipment." Bummer.
Also, in case anyone was curious, the new transformer for the 2001 is
going to cost $157 USD.

I contacted Keithley regarding the
schematic. It's itemised in the contents of one of the
manuals, or referred to in its text, but those pages of the
manual are missing. Keithley said it's not available. Any
ideas anyone?

No schematic there.

I understand from a pal at Honeywell that we may find such documents at "LOGSA". Can someone who can access check if it is available?

Thanks Brian, looks like 2001 is not there.
