The Karshner Museum and Center for Culture & Arts is having a special arts event May 4, 2019.  We are hosting "Wet Mud, Fresh Paint" a festival of arts in action.  We are hoping to have a variety of artists demonstrating all kinds of art, as well as showing it - from throwing pottery, to printmaking, to making pop up books to wood burning, polishing rocks and making jewelry.  [cid:image002.jpg@01D4E79C.CD86E070]

CALL FOR ART

"WET MUD, FRESH PAINT" Artist in Action Festival
May 4, 2019      Noon to 5 pm

[cid:image006.png@01D4E79C.CD86E070]
We would love to have artists willing to "demonstrate" their craft, sculpting could take place out on covered patio, We have large tarps for messy things
-Anyone have unique projects -printmaking, collage, combining different mediums.  I already have lots of professional water color and oil painters, don't really need that but want examples and demonstrations of what our kids don't already know.

The Karshner Center can pay an honorarium for demonstrating for some, especially if you are hauling in pottery wheels, printing presses, lots of materials, how long you want to stay.
The event runs from noon to five.  There will be some performance art as well, puppets, hula dancer, juggling, whatever.
There is also an Art Show running from May 3 to May 24 of mixed media pieces.  In other words, one-two pieces from a variety of mediums and styles. There will be a Peoples Choice award, and Best of... If you are interested and available please fill out the attached application and we can work out ideas, or text me at the number below. Thanks so much,  Please share with others.
