I would doubt if PDQ is the largest Power Cat manufacturer in North America.
Sea Vee probably is the largest, followed by Glacier Bay, then perhaps World
Cat, and comming up quickly is Tom Cat (#48 should be delivered before the
first year of production is over.)
PDQ may well be for boats over 30 feet....

Well, if you want to split size hairs Bob, Livingston
(http://www.livingstonboats.com/boats.asp) has been making small power
catamarans for decades. They must have produced thousands by now.
I'd like to have one of these, but the
shipping for such a small boat to OK is
ridiculous without dealers. I saw one
several years ago here in OK, but the
selling dealer said they were nowhere
nearly competitive with other boats
in the size range for dinghy usage.

If you're talking number of boats sold, my understanding is that
ProKat may have sold a few more last year than Twin Vee, followed
closely by Glacier Bay and then World Cat.
TomCat is definitely the hot boat of the year in the smaller
outboard-powered cats. A lot of that comes from having so many C-Dory
monohulls in the owner universe ready to cross over. Now, they can
buy a better C-Dory.

There is no question Livingston is the dinghy king and sells a lot of
small fishing boats, but I haven't seen any hard numbers; thus,
cannot say for certain where they slot in in the power cat industry.
