Do you want to contribute to the arts programming offered in Tacoma, build community, and benefit from free publicity? Submit your arts activity for inclusion in the 2011 Art at Work: Tacoma Arts Month activity brochure! The Tacoma Arts Commission is seeking submissions of arts activities happening during our tenth annual Art at Work: Tacoma Arts Month this November. We are looking for a variety of activities spanning all categories of art including but not limited to music, visual art, literary art, dance, theater, and film. If you will be hosting an exhibition, performance, class, workshop, reception, lecture, tour, artists' market, celebration, meeting, presentation, or any other programming, let us know. We will list your arts event in the Art at Work: Tacoma Arts Month brochure for free; 15,000 copies of this brochure are distributed throughout the region. We will also be promoting the many events going on throughout the month in posters, special promo pieces, advertisements and articles in local and regional papers and magazines, and at www.ArtAtWorkTacoma.com<http://www.ArtAtWorkTacoma.com>. This month would not be possible without the participation of local businesses, organizations, and community members. We encourage you to participate by hosting your own arts activity or event. Deadline for submissions is August 15, 2011. To qualify, your arts activity must be located within the City of Tacoma limits and occur during the month of November. To participate, submit the following two items: Online Art at Work Activity Submission form Go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/activitiesform2011 and fill out the online form. Please note: If you are submitting multiple events, please fill out a form for each event. A digital photograph (optional) to be used for promoting this event. Image must be at least 300 ppi.
