It pays to do some research. We?recently picked up a Galaxy II that doesn't require cell service but has a GPS. Just so there is no confusion on the cell part....the iPad DOES not require a to be activated for cell service..only a cell type phone Larry Sent from my iPad Spelling errors are its fault
