are now offering a variety of ready-made salads, soups, dips and
desserts from Simply Organic Cafe.
"We're listening very closely to what our customers want, and many of
them want something fast that they can grab on the go," said Henri
Parren, TFC's general manager. "People wanting something fresh and
healthy for lunch or dinner now have lots of delicious choices."
New offerings include salads such as Beet Quinoa, Brown Rice, Feta,
Bowtie Basil and Tabouleh, soups such as Split Pea Curry, Roast
Chicken Swiss Chard or Butternut Bisque and sweet finishes such as
gluten-free Chocolate Mousse or Lemon Bars. The selection will vary
based on the inspiration of the Executive Chef and the availability of
local organic ingredients.
The co-op, which opened in August, is located at 3002 6th Avenue and
