Gentle Wind - update

Just a few hours out of Bora Bora, we hit a solid wall of
grey
cloud cover that lasted the entire way to Rarotonga!  There
were a few blue patches thrown in, but I think that was just
to get our hopes up so they could be dashed again!  On top
of all that, it rained most of the 3-day passage, too, and
it
got quite a bit colder as we moved to 21degrees south.  It
is actually about as cold as San Francisco!  The weatherman
said on Tuesday that for the southern Cooks the "Outlook
is mostly nice" - I'd hate to see a not-so-nice day!

We're tucked in at a commercial pier in a very tiny harbor,
since all the stern-to anchorings were filled.  A couple of
the
boats here were supposed to be leaving, but they've decided
to stay because of the weather;  and there's a container
ship
coming in tomorrow afternoon.  So I don't know where we
are going to put the boat, but we have to move.

We'll be here until mid-week, with a planned departure for
Pago Pago on Thursday Oct. 6.  Hopefully the weather will
clear up a bit by then.
