my son just bought a J105 sailboat. (moving back from the dark side to the
side of light). the engine survey noted that the raw water line loops up
into the yanmar high above the water line
i would estimate 18 inches or so. if all the seawater drains out when we
haul out for the survey and lose prime what is the best way to "re-water"?
pull off the line at the engine and dump in water?
or maybe the best would be to shut off the raw water seacock at the hull so
it doesnt drain out.. maybe i answered my own question.
