IN THIS ISSUE: New Director, Officer, and Chair Annual Assessment Annual Meeting Slides Call for Volunteers Rental Property Percentage Vuecrest Monthly Board Meeting New Director, Officer, and Chair At the December meeting, the following positions were filled: Interim Director (term expiring 2014) - Eric Passmore Vice-President - Marc Lapsley Safety Chair - Eileen Foley The Director's chair was filled after a resignation from Matt LaPine, who served our community as Director, President, and leader of many projects (public right-of-way improvements, streetlights, lighting) over the years. He also created our neighborhood's Internet presence, led our reserve study, and contributed in many other ways to Vuecrest. Annual Assessment Towards the end of this month, you should be receiving a bill for your 2014 Vuecrest assessment. The assessment amount of $340 per property was approved by the vote last month. It is being processed by our management firm, EMB, and is due by January 31st. Annual Meeting Slides The slides presented at last month's Vuecrest Annual Meeting are available on our website at http://www.vuecrest.net/resource-center/annual-meetings. Rental Property Percentage The percentage of properties being rented in our neighborhood continues to drop. Currently, about 15% of all properties are under rental, down from 25% at the peak a few years ago. Call for Volunteers The board is looking for a volunteer to write our monthly newsletter and help with other board communications tasks. If you are interested, please email directors@vuecrest.net.
