Macs do get viruses - I have been using them since 1984 and had a virus
once in 1989. . . .and again in '92... been on pins and needles since then.

There are a couple of documented viruses on Macs, from downloading stolen software from pirate sites. Macs don't get viruses just from reading email or viewing a web site, and they don't need anti-virus programs as a matter of course the way Windows computers do. The also don't get daily or weekly "security patches." I taking a Mac, an iPad and an iPhone when I do the Loop!

They just don't have enough users to make it worth the trouble, hence less
viruses not immunity.
