We are happy to announce our second annual Arts Bridging Communities extravaganza funded by UW Tacoma’s Strategic Initiative Fund. This year’s theme is Art to Resist, Persist & Ground. We invite you to participate in some capacity, as an arts enthusiast and participant, a leader of a socially engaged arts workshop, a 2-minute performer/speaker in our ART/SLAM/SLIDE, or as a volunteer.
This year’s ABC is honored to have the nationally acclaimed poet, playwright and arts educator, Magdalena Gomez, founder of Teatro Vida, coming to our campus, to offer her work at the Art/Slam/Slide and a workshop the following day. http://www.magdalenagomez.com/ and http://www.teatrovida.com/who-we-are.html
Below is the link to the form for you to sign up to lead a workshop, volunteer or offer a lightening talk/performance/reading on the night of April 25th at Alma Mater Tacoma.
