For those of you who attended the AAAE Conference in Atlanta, congratulations on having attended a great conference in a great city. I think we should all applaud AAAE for staging another great program and thank Kaplan, Kirsch and Rockwell for its leadership. For those of you who did not attend, I hope you'll be able to make it next year. I also hope that we can get this list working to provide the exchange of ideas and information that it can foster and that we can develop some distance learning programs to serve this group in this specialized practice area. Please send us some ideas as to what you'd like to see us cover in a distance learning format, take a look at our website for information about other distance learning options as well as programming scheduled for DC and Las Vegas. We want IMLA to serve you and need to understand better how we can do it. One thing you missed if you were not in Atlanta was my brief discussion about IMLA's new intitiatives to provide ten free hours of distance learning to our members (one line per member) and a very reduced price for the entire series of 30 more programs; I also announced our agreement with AIA to allow us to provide free to our member communities a model of suggested modifications to the AIA documents if the member community has the underlying AIA document license. For those of you who use the AIA documents, these modifications are a "must", but you have to be a member to get them.
