They will provide pizza, the location and basics. Please bring dishes to share – pop, side dishes, dessert – we always have plenty and it is always good!
We will probably do some obedience work this year – Missy Manke is seeing if she can get an obedience trainer to come and give pointers on specific dog behavior issues that may be of interest.
We will also talk about the December Specialty, possible upcoming parades, and the idea of having a banquet for club members in January, separated from the dog show.

Chuckles, a visitor to some club events in the last several years, is one of Dawn's puppies. He is a well built healthy dog with a wonderful attitude. And thanks to Dawn's good advise, he is now a 3 yr old 196# boy rated "5" by our vet after we allowed him to grow a bit large (217) after his second year.

Hi, You Might want to check out Joanne Tate's puppies too. Those of you at our house last year in September were able to play with a litter she had then. Joanne is also a member of our club and quite active in the dog world both in the show ring and obedience (she has also done some agility). Her dogs not only meet the standard for the show ring but more importantly they have good movement and sound structure and are always well socialized. She spends a lot of time hiking with her dogs. Check out some of her pictures on facebook or look her up at Badbear Newfoundlands. She's just accross the border in Thunderbay Canada. A great weekend trip to see Newfy's.
