We were so delighted to return to St. Luke's than two weeks ago and to
begin a new season. Many thanks to you and St. Luke's both for making
these concerts possible. We have much yet to be excited about, in
anticipation of the gifts of Oleg Timofeyev, one of the world's
leading experts on the 7-string guitar of the Biedermeier period;
harpsichordist Bernhard Lohr and baroque violinist Anne R**öhrig,
who lead Hannover, Germany's prominent baroque orchestra /Musica Alta
Ripa/ and are professors  of harpsichord and baroque violin at
conservatories in Hannover and Nuremburg, Germany; renowned Chicago
harpsichordist/organist/fortepianists David Schrader from Chicago and
Hans-J**ürgen Schnoor from Lubeck, Germany; soprano Maike Albrecht
from Lubeck; and 3-part early 17th-century canzonas with lutenist John
Lenti
and renaissance bassoonist Anna Marsh. We'll be pleased to have
you join us a week from Monday!
