For those cities and towns that have independent contractors for municipal attorney, could you send me a copy.  My city wants to compare my contract with others in the state.  Any help would be appreciated, so I do not have to make a bunch of open record requests.

IMLA worked to develop model retainer agreements for outside and in- house city/county attorneys. They are available on the IMLA website www.IMLA.org. These agreements were fashioned after the ICMA contracts for city managers with some changes designed for our profession and to be more protective of the client's interests.
