We continue to hear that the publication of the public charge Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) is imminent. This week, we are sharing a few tips to help you prepare: 1. If your organization’s point person on public charge issues or your communications staffer have vacation plans coming up, please prepare a backup person. 2. Make sure your organization has a statement prepared for the day the NPRM is published. 3. Keep calm and remember that the PIF campaign has a rapid response plan ready to go. Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect from us in the first 48 hours. * In the first 30 minutes, we will send a note to the full campaign listserv with a link to the NPRM and information about upcoming calls/webinars.
