From Frank Mantlik

7/21  Stratford, Short Beach Park - in the early morning haze (6:45 am) there
were an estimated 1400 COMMON TERNS and 200 LEAST TERNS, as well as many
roosting gulls and egrets.  I went back this evening (5:45pm) and there were
similar tern numbers with most of them in flight and plunge-diving for fish.  I
found 2 adult ROSEATE TERNS in the mix.

Stratford, Access Rd. Pool (opposite R.E. Michel) 5:30 pm; water levels are
perfect for shorebirds- 31 Lesser Yellowlegs, 3 Killdeer, 2 Semipalmated
Sandpiper, 3 Short-billed Dowitcher, 1 Glossy Ibis.
Yesterday (7/20) there was a Solitary Sandpiper here.
