Electric blanket and MSW
Fri, Nov 12, 2010 11:03 PM
I'm estimating it added about 40-60 AH to our overnight consumption. Very difficult to gauge since the blanket doesn't draw it's maximum current all night long, but we'll have no trouble running the blanket all night from our 1200 AH bank. Certainly better than running the genset all night on those chilly ones, and nice to climb into a warm bed!

Moving Marine Trader 34

I can get estimates but need to know the shipping height of the MT34 (without mast etc). Does anyone have that information? Thanks for your help. Werner Jay Leonard leonaj99@yahoo.com

Re: T&T: Admeasurement $8500

We recreational boaters are fortunate inasmuch as we are generally allowed, with few exceptions, to "estimate" the tonnage for documentation purposes using a formula based on length, breadth, "depth" (*not* draft), and hull shape.

Removing Teak Decks
Tue, Jan 23, 2018 8:14 PM
An estimate is that about 50%-60% of the decking probably took 70% of the time; much of the deck had loosened from the bedding, but that which didn't was an inch-by-inch chiseling job with a 3" stiff, sharp putty knife and a 4 lb hammer. 4. Screws which heads twisted off were drilled out, occasionally using a easy out. 5.

Tedious work:
Mon, Dec 12, 2016 11:29 PM
Basically I've got the design at the very center and then am a bit perplexed about what to do next (to estimate where things are, and cut wedges up nicely). One annoyance is that it is a two colored checkerboard like tiling so every other part will need to be reversed....

Re: [USRP-users] RFNoC: internal TX-RX loop

Sorry if I'm asking silly questions, but I'm RFNoC novice and I'm trying to estimate what amount of work it would take to make USRP X3x0 stream samples from RX to TX inside FPGA. Best Regards, Piotr

Re: [USRP-users] GNU Radio frequency synchronization block

One issue with the FLL is that it tracks too fast, and thus will continuously apply small frequency offset corrections based on its noisy estimate. I would suggest also asking this on discuss-gnuradio (although you're welcome to post this question here too!), where there's probably more people who can chime in with this discussion.

Depending on how many features you plan to introduce in the FPGA, you have to take into account the utilization that it would require (for what we provide a "free-space" estimate here ).

E312 Loopback Path Delay Changes when FPGA image is reloaded

We are measuring (relative) cable length by estimating linear phase slope from a 10MHz chirp pulse and are using the following test setup (attached): We have set the appropriate AD9361 registers to keep the VCO/PLL dividers on so that RXA (data) and RXB (calibration) are phase coherent.

I estimated the length on the two partials, then reduced the amount to make sure he had more than what I was saying and priced them to him. He emailed, saying he wanted them, paid with PayPal, and left a positive feedback after receiving them ( I had left him a positive as soon as I shipped them.).
