That time is after the survey and a few days before the closing after you both have had time to review the survey and get estimates. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the phone renegotiating prior to closing. 14) Keep your mouth shut and smile a lot at the closing.

I personally can relate to the problem of not having a written estimate even though the work was perfromed from what is suppose to be a reputable yard. Gil

Dear John Marshall: Your comments below, are they your estimates or your actual experience? I'm a financial planner and have worked with boat owners who have taken their boats on extended cruising (1-5 years). Only one had to tap into his capital to maintain his boating lifestyle.

Re: [USRP-users] GPSDO Timing Sync Across Devices: Slippery Clock

The original drift estimate was 35ns per second (not 0.35ns). And here are some observations on the gpsdo firmware pps tracking: There is a 40 MHz VCO (i.e. VCTCXO) that is tuned to match PPS's (or an external 10MHz that appears to not be an option on the E310).

If you want to be a bit more advanced, you would use the receivers estimate of positional error as an input to the continously running Kalman filter. Kalman filters excell over PLLs in acheiving stable locks (as in creating a lower ADEV curve on the output of the locked oscillator).

Filtering will also effect systematic signals, but you should never use ADEV for such noises, it's a bad estimator for them. Filtering does indeed impact the ADEV both at short tau’s and longer tau’s.

I keep going back to the CNS clock because although its frequency fluctuations are more severe, I find it's easier to visually estimate tweak amounts. My desire is to maintain an Rb within 10 PPT most or all of the time with little or no manual attention.
