Call for Participation: Software Defined Radio Devroom at FOSDEM 2016

Lengths aren't fixed, but give a realistic estimate and please don't exceed 30 minutes unless you have something special planned (in that case, contact one of us). Also, don't forget to include time for Q&A. Typical slot lengths would be 30 Minutes including QA. You aren't limited to slide presentations, of course. Be creative.

Re: [USRP-users] Power of B200mini USRP

Do a few more than just one measurement, though – with 3 or 4 different known powers, you can verify you're in the linear range of operation, get a noise floor estimate and the proportionality factor mentioned above at once. multiple E310 synchronize

Hi,all, I'm using tow E312 to estimate the arrive time difference between received signals.The program is explained as follows: uhd::usrp::multi_usrp::sptr UsrpDev = uhd::usrp::multi_usrp::make(“”); UsrpDev->set_time_source("gpsdo"); UsrpDev->set_clock_source("internal", uhd::usrp::multi_usrp::ALL_MBOARDS); ... uhd::stream_args_t StreamArgs; StreamArgs.cpu_format

AFAIK, Ashtec's patented "Z-code" receivers generate a hardware estimate of this code and (nearly) coherently demodulate the signal. Other brands have similar tricks up their sleeve. Tom

However, it seems like he is not caring about the noise level during the clamping time, which would make his noise estimates somewhat over-optimistic. But then again, I haven't given the paper a propper read- through. Cheers, Magnus

Datron 4910/11/12 LTZ1000 Reference Board (finally)
Sun, Feb 8, 2009 2:28 PM
I would estimate that fully 50% of the total trace length on the board is guard traces. As a bonus, I've also scanned the 10V reference from my Solartron 7081 8.5 digit voltmeter. This is an HP 3458 class voltmeter. The interesting (and amazing) thing about this reference is that it does NOT use an LTZ1000, or even an ovenized reference.

Now, that was assuming white-noise... the 1/f noise sources needs to be estimated for real performance, as they behave differently in ADEV.

According to literature the separation of variances method provide a reasonable estimate. How well does a measurement, based on separation of variances, compare to one that was done using a sufficiently stable reference?

Record this first estimate of the angle. Unlock the lower movement and turn back to stake A (no change in the reading) and lock. Now unlock the upper movement and turn to stake B (reading is now 2X) and lock.

Doctors estimate approx 5 weeks. I can t tell you how truly Den will be missed by all who knew him. If any of you have read his Caring Bridge I m sure you can understand what incredible spirit Den has.
