Hi, I saw in the discussion archive that Greg from Granite Horizon recently asked this question last week but can we get an estimated release timeline for the Fine Arts profile? This is why I am asking.

[Ontbirds]Snow Geese - Lancaster

Doing a good count wasn't possible but a reasonable estimate (through binoculars by the way - I wasn't driving), was at least 500 birds. On the return trip later in the day, they had moved on. While this would be a relatively common sight in the spring, large fall groups are uncommon at best.

[Ontbirds] TOC Whimbrel Watch/C.Sam.Smith Park/Etobicoke-25 May 2009
Tue, May 26, 2009 1:04 AM
The total number estimated to fly along the Atlantic/Great Lakes basin to Hudson Bay is believed to be about 22,000. There is still a good possibility that tomorrow may be another good Whimbrel day. In late afternoon a single and group of 3 Whimbrels were moving around to various rock jetties but they are easily spooked.
