The best home internet service I ever had was Verizon FIOS. Wish that was available here.

Customer service says that they can see the interrupted service for our
area and they are currently working on the problem.
Gal, I spoke with was able tell me that she could see internet has been up
and down several times throughout the day and its been going on for the
last week.
She stated spectrum should have the outtages fixed by 4:30 today. And
advise me to call back if the problem persists.

Folks,FYI,
Spectrum internet in our community is in CABLE MODEM system as far as I know. CABLE network is speed dependent upon how many nodes/connectivity/devices are active at that time. So you may not get the speed advertised. Noticed that is says UPTO 200Mbps or whatever rate you pay for. Fast.com site can test your connection speed.
GVTC is on Fiber in our community and is unlike spectrum generally not affected by number of devices on the network.

So, hopefully tonight everyone has seen an improvement? I received an
automated call from Spectrum around 6pm saying the problem with the service
in our area has been fixed. And to call Spectrum back if we are still
experiencing internet outtages.

We are having all kinds of problems as well. I tried not to be a crazy lady when I finally got them on the phone. We ended up switching boxes as well- but not sure how it is working as I had to go out of town. Hopefully it is working with the new boxes. Sharon
